Gratitude

Singer-songwriter CARRIE UNDERWOOD is known for her chart-topping hits like “Jesus, Take the Wheel” and “Before He Cheats.” She’s also known for her strong Christian faith.

In a recent interview with TODAY, Underwood shared how she practices gratitude in her daily life.

“I am a person of faith, and it is important for me to be a good example in that regard,” Underwood said. “I’m not perfect, but I try my best to live my life in a way that would be pleasing to God.”

Underwood said she starts each day by reading her Bible and praying. She also keeps a gratitude journal where she writes down all the things she’s thankful for.

“I think it’s so important to take time to reflect on all the blessings in your life,” she said. “It’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but when you take a moment to be grateful, it really puts things into perspective.”

Underwood said her faith has helped her through some tough times, including a miscarriage in 2017.

“I leaned on my faith a lot during that time,” she said. “It was a really difficult time, but I knew that God had a plan for me and that He would get me through it.”

Underwood is a great example of how to live a life of gratitude. By taking time each day to reflect on her blessings, she is able to stay grounded and focused on what’s important.
