2000 MULES
Ballot stuffers caught red-handed in a shocking election exposé.
Should You Watch It?
2000 MULES is a forceful documentary about alleged ballot trafficking during the 2020 presidential election. It presents video evidence and GPS data involving people who allegedly made repeated trips to ballot drop boxes and stuffed them with multiple ballots. The film argues that this activity augmented Joe Biden’s vote totals and calls for a full investigation.
The documentary is strongest as an exposé. It gives viewers a large amount of evidence, interviews conservative commentators and election-integrity experts, and makes a clear case for examining the sources of the ballots. It also argues against early voting, mail-in ballots and drop boxes while supporting nationwide voter identification.
The film is politically charged, but its content is otherwise unusually clean. If your family can discuss controversial political claims thoughtfully, this is worth seeing.
The Story
NO SPOILERS — WE KEEP THE SURPRISESThe documentary begins with the unusual halt in vote counting during the 2020 presidential election and the subsequent shift in the results toward Joe Biden.
Dinesh D’Souza then consults conservative commentators who say they want more proof of illegal activity. The film turns to True the Vote, whose leaders present millions of minutes of video and extensive GPS data that they say reveal a network of ballot traffickers operating around drop boxes in several swing states.
Is It Any Good?
Four stars means this is a highly effective documentary. 2000 MULES uses extensive video evidence, GPS tracking data, expert interviews and a straightforward investigative structure to make its case. The result is shocking and disturbing, with a clear argument that keeps the film focused.
Its chief limitation is also clear: for legal reasons, the documentary and True the Vote do not identify the specific organizations they say supplied the ballots. The source review calls that a weakness because naming those groups would bolster the case.
The Worldview
The film presents a Christian, conservative and patriotic worldview. It exalts the United States Constitution, representative government and elections that are free from illegal interference. It condemns ballot trafficking as a serious moral and civic wrong and calls for investigation, voter identification and election practices the filmmakers believe would better protect election integrity.
The documentary also places responsibility on Democrat and leftist nonprofit organizations and their supporters, including large donations made to election officials. It presents these claims as evidence of an organized effort to help Joe Biden win illegitimately. The film’s perspective is strongly partisan, so viewers should distinguish between the documentary’s allegations and conclusions and the evidence it presents for them.
At its center is a longing for truth, justice and honest government. That longing aligns with Scripture’s call to pursue justice: “But let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream” (Amos 5:24).
