LIFEMARK
A heartwarming, pro-life drama about adoption, forgiveness, and life's value.
Should You Watch It?
LIFEMARK is a well-made, heartwarming, inspiring faith-based drama. It centers on adoption, forgiveness, reliance on God, believing God’s plan, and loving others. Its pro-life message about adoption, giving life, and the value of life is clear and beautiful.
The PG-13 rating should not keep you away. The film contains no graphic or objectionable material, but its themes about abortion and pro-life issues are heavier than those in a typical family movie.
If your family includes older children who can engage thoughtfully with those themes, this is worth seeing. The practical answer is simple: take your family to LIFEMARK.
The Story
NO SPOILERS — WE KEEP THE SURPRISESDavid is an 18-year-old high school senior who has always tried to hide the fact that he was adopted. When his biological mother reaches out and asks to meet him, David must decide whether to let her into his life.
With encouragement from his best friend, Nate, David begins facing questions about his adoption. Then he hears from his biological father and must decide whether to meet him, too.
