Multi-time Olympic gold medalist Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone and her husband, former NFL star Andre Levrone, welcomed their first child earlier this month.
“Savannah Michelle Levrone💗🥹,” the couple shared in a joint post on Instagram on July 12. “Our blessing and our joy is finally here! So grateful for everyone who supported us through the pregnancy journey. Looking forward to seeing what God has in store for our little girl!!”
The post included five black-and-white pictures from a newborn photoshoot. The first photo was a profile shot of the couple together with Sydney holding Savannah against her chest, looking straight at the camera with a gentle smile, while Andre stood closely behind her, leaning in with his arms wrapped around her.
The second photo was a soft, overhead color photo showing Savannah lying peacefully on a blanket. Savannah was dressed in an off-white outfit with a large matching bow headband, lightly lifting their tiny hands up toward her face.
Photo three was a tender, close-up shot focusing on hands. Savannah’s tiny hand wraps around Andre’s finger, with Sydney’s hand gently resting underneath. This photo also highlighted their wedding rings against a soft knit blanket background.
The last two photos were black-and-white portraits of Andre and Sydney holding their baby girl. Andre is smiling off-camera warmly, while Sydney cradles Savannah asleep against her shoulder.

The couple announced their pregnancy in January.
“Made a human with my favorite human,” the track star wrote in a post on Instagram, which included photos of the couple alongside pictures of a sonogram of the baby.
“Oh, how we have prayed for you…and the Lord has answered!! You are our greatest blessing and are already so loved. We are eagerly waiting to meet you! 🫶🏽🤍 Cool parents loading…” she added.
In May, the Levrones announced their baby’s gender.
“In honor of Mother’s Day here’s a look back on us finding out that Baby Levrone is in fact a….GIRL,” Sydney posted on Instagram. “We love you baby girl! Happy Mother’s Day to all the mamas out there! 🙏🏽 so grateful.”
Ahead of Savannah’s arrival, Sydney spoke about her hopes for her daughter — and if she wants her to be a track star too.
“This is completely new to me and my husband, so we’re so excited to step into this journey and just to learn along the way. And we’re just excited to meet our little girl,” she told Woman’s World. “As I prepare to welcome my daughter. I hope you know that I can just inspire her to chase her dreams. Whether she chooses track or another sport, I’m going to be able to be there and support her.”
From praying for her arrival to counting down the months alongside their supportive community, Sydney and Andre’s journey to parenthood has been anchored in gratitude every step of the way.
