CROSSROAD SPRINGS is heading back to Red Oak Ranch.
Great American Pure Flix will release all 10 new episodes of the faith-based family drama’s second season weekly beginning Thursday, Sept. 3, while Great American Family and GFAM+ pick up the story for cable and streaming viewers two days later, splitting the season into five episodes this year and five more come January 2027, according to Pure Flix Insider.
“It’s faith and family-friendly, and everyone can sit down and watch it,” Brittany Underwood, who plays Maggie Johnson on the series, told Movieguide® of the show’s appeal.
That’s exactly the kind of endorsement Movieguide® likes to hear, and the publication has been tracking CROSSROAD SPRINGS since it first rode into town. Movieguide®’s review of the series premiere praised its emphasis on “family loyalty, humility and dependence on God” and handed it a Family +4 rating for content completely free of profanity, violence or sexual material. Season 1, episode 6 earned a nomination for Best Streaming for Families at the Movieguide® Awards, with star Jonathan Stoddard picking up a Grace Prize® nomination for Most Inspiring Performance for Streaming.
Season 2 gives the Hamilton family plenty to navigate at Red Oak Ranch. James expands his work as pastor of the local cowboy church even as new responsibilities pile up, while Maggie opens a community food pantry called “The Round Up” to serve the town, Pure Flix Insider reported.

Janet, meanwhile, finds herself unexpectedly reconnected with an old boyfriend, complicating an already full plate. And Jackson Newman’s sudden return — wife and daughter in tow — threatens to reignite old tensions between the Hamiltons and the Newmans.
“Original series such as CROSSROAD SPRINGS allow viewers to return to beloved characters and communities, deepen their emotional connection to our stories,” Bill Abbott, President and Chief Executive Officer of Great American Media, said.
That emotional connection is precisely what’s kept families coming back for a second season. The series follows the Hamiltons through the everyday joys and trials of ranch life, weaving faith, work, and family into a small-town drama that treats prayer and Scripture as a real source of strength rather than a footnote.
Season 1 left plenty of loose threads to pick up. The finale, Movieguide® noted, closed on an Easter service at the new cowboy church even as the Hamiltons learned their expansion permit had landed under review — a wrinkle that all but guaranteed more trouble ahead.
The returning cast includes Stoddard, Emily Alatalo, Shaun Johnston, Kate Drummond, Jesse Hutch, Underwood, Erin Agostino, Jillian Cardarelli and Jon McLaren, with Great American Media producing.
For Christian families weary of scrolling past prestige dramas loaded with content warnings, CROSSROAD SPRINGS keeps offering a gentler alternative — one where a character’s faith gets to matter. Movieguide® plans to review the new season as episodes roll out this fall.
Season 2 of CROSSROAD SPRINGS premieres Thursday, Sept. 3, on Great American Pure Flix, and Saturday, Sept. 5, on Great American Family and GFAM+.
