Jennifer Nizza — a.k.a. Ex-Psychic Saved — warned parents about the dangers in FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S 2.

“FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S 2 just landed on Netflix, and it’s one of the most-watched titles on the platform right now, with a massive kid and teen following,” she said in an Instagram video. “Here’s the plot in one sentence: children were murdered and their spirits now live inside animatronic characters, using them as bodies to interact with the living. That’s not a side detail. That’s the entire franchise, guys.”

Nizza continued, “The heroes in this movie don’t try to send these spirits away or help them find rest. They befriend them. They talk to them. They ask them for help. And by the end, the villain’s own spirit possesses an empty suit, setting up the next movie.”

“As a former psychic medium who left the New Age and came to Christ, I need you to hear what I’m actually pointing out,” she said. “This isn’t just a scary story about killer robots. It’s a teaching from the enemy, a doctrine of demons, for an entire generation of children that the dead don’t leave; they linger. That you can talk to them, befriend them, and interact with them through an object.”

“I’m not saying every child who watches this is going to start practicing the occult,” she added. “I’m saying we should notice what we’re normalizing when the emotional core of a kid’s franchise is ‘talk to the dead using this doll’ and nobody blinks. Talk to your children about what death actually is according to scripture, in an age-appropriate way, not according to a horror franchise.”

Movieguide®’s review of FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S 2 also warns parents against its “heavy occult content,” adding, “The film’s answer to grief and injustice is occult revenge and haunted machinery, not repentance, forgiveness, or trust in a righteous God who judges rightly.”

Nizza also recently warned parents about Disney’s upcoming movie HEXED. After viewing a trailer, she raised concerns that the movie portrays witchcraft “in a really beautiful way.”

“[It] makes me think of Satan masquerading as an angel of light — and that’s really disturbing,” she added.

Nizza continued, “It’s so important to disregard the aesthetic, because it’s the same evil and it’s the same author of these practices: the devil…This isn’t just a movie. This is implanting and brainwashing the demonic agenda into your minds and into the minds of your children.”

As Hollywood continues to make movies with these themes, it’s important for parents to be mindful of what their children are seeing onscreen and to discuss the harms of this type of content.
