Actress Natasha Bure Perry knows from experience that being in a relationship just because you want to be is a bad idea.
“I really craved and desired a relationship and marriage and all of those things to the point where then you know, maybe I was with someone who wasn’t really the right fit for me,” Bure Perry explained on her mom, Candace Cameron Bure’s, podcast. “But I was just so eager to make something work and ended up being way more unhappy rather in the relationship rather than being in my singleness. And that was tough.”
However, she’s grateful for that time and the experience and knowledge it gave her. If she could go back and give herself advice, it would be to continue being patient and hopeful.
“But not that you’re conforming just for the sake of being in a relationship,” she added.
When Bure Perry was dating her now husband, actor Bradley Steven Perry, in 2024, he said, “Genuinely, she’s the best person I know. I really do believe that.”

Bure Perry says one of her most important relationships she has is with God. Her faith is what steadies her.
“It is quite literally the only thing that keeps me afloat in this life,” she said in an Instagram Story Q&A. “I’m not perfect by any means. I have days where things get hectic or my priorities aren’t where they need to be…but I try my best to be consistent with talking to God and always having open conversation with Him.”
A modern tool she loves is the Bible app, which reminds her to make God important. And she believes everyone has a God-given gift that they can use to honor him.
“It’s our job to even hone in to those things because…it’s just going to make the biggest impact,” Bure Perry said. “And so, if you have a gift with music, how can I use my voice to impact the kingdom, to worship him? If I have a gift of storytelling, how can I further the kingdom in that regard?”
She owes some of her faith to her parents, who are strong believers.
In 2022, she wrote on Instagram, “The Lord blessed me with the best parents I could’ve ever asked for…Raising us up in the word of God and bringing glory to HIS name. I don’t know where I’d be without both of them. I love you @candacecbure for continuously choosing Christ before all.”
It’s wonderful that Bure Perry posses such maturity at this stage of life.
