Sight & Sound’s MOSES begins streaming Thursday, Aug. 27, on Wonder Project through Prime Video, bringing the burning bush, the Exodus and a parted Red Sea into family living rooms this week.
“There’s something special about getting to partner with like-minded organizations using their platforms to spread messages of hope to a hope-hungry world,” said Katie Miller, Sight & Sound’s vice president of brand development.
MOSES is the latest premiere in Wonder Project’s season-long Sight & Sound rollout, which began July 30 and is adding a new production roughly every two weeks through the fall. JESUS, THE STORY OF SIGHT & SOUND and RUTH arrived first, and MOSES now takes its turn at the front of the lineup.
The story starts with a baby set adrift on the Nile and grows into one of Scripture’s great accounts of courage, obedience and deliverance. Sight & Sound’s official description follows Moses through the wilderness, to the burning bush and up Mount Sinai as God calls an unlikely man to lead His people out of Egypt.
That familiar story gets the full Sight & Sound treatment: original music, a large cast and a stage built to make biblical history feel close enough to touch. Sight & Sound recorded the production before a live audience, and nearly 2 million theatergoers have already experienced the two-hour show onstage.

The scale is part of the fun, but the production keeps its focus on the man inside the spectacle. Moses begins frightened and uncertain, then learns to trust the God who called him, a thread families can carry into conversations long after the credits roll.
Wonder Project’s larger collection will eventually include NOAH — 30TH ANNIVERSARY, QUEEN ESTHER, DAVID, SAMSON, DANIEL and MIRACLE OF CHRISTMAS. Select releases will come with behind-the-scenes extras, while THE STORY OF SIGHT & SOUND gives viewers a separate look at how the family-owned company grew from a traveling multimedia presentation into a major faith-based entertainment brand.
For decades, that growth has meant thinking big. Sight & Sound’s Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and Branson, Missouri, productions use wraparound stages, towering sets, original songs and live animals; a new show can take four years to create, according to Religion News Service reporting.
“Our goal is always to bring the gospel of Jesus to the masses,” said Toni Montgomery, Sight & Sound’s director of marketing and communications.
Streaming widens that audience beyond families who can make the trip to either theater. The partnership gives Wonder Project the broadest collection of Sight & Sound productions available on a third-party service and gives longtime fans a simpler way to revisit stories that may already be part of their family traditions.
MOSES also joins a Wonder Project library that already leans into biblical storytelling, with HOUSE OF DAVID, THE OLD STORIES: MOSES, THE PRINCE OF EGYPT, JOSEPH: KING OF DREAMS and VEGGIETALES among its faith-and-family offerings. A GREAT AWAKENING, Sight & Sound’s historical drama about evangelist George Whitefield and Benjamin Franklin, is streaming there as well.
For families looking for a hopeful watch this week, MOSES offers more than sheer spectacle. Its central truth has endured far longer than any stage effect: God can call an unlikely person, meet him in his fear and make a path where none seems possible.
