The hosts and judges of DANCING WITH THE STARS Season 35 recently gave a sneak peek of what fans can expect.

“You can expect what you know and love aboutDANCING WITH THE STARS but also an energized show,” Derek Hough said Tuesday on GOOD MORNING AMERICA. “We have so much momentum. The cast is incredible. The pros are energized.”

The new season will star Savannah Bananas second baseman Jackson Olson, Guillermo Rodriguez, THE TRAITORS star Maura Higgins, SUMMER HOUSE star Ciara Miller, dancer Jenna Dewan, actor Harry Shum Jr., actress Julia Stiles, reality star Conner Leavitt, celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis, singer Taylor Hanson, Olympic figure skater Amber Glenn, social media personality Connor Wood, BACHELORETTE star Tyler Cameron, actress Tatyana Ali, Paralympian Ezra Frech and reality star Sarah Jane Nader, Good Housekeeping reported.

The host, Alfonso Ribeiro, credited DWTS’s magic to Deena Katz, the casting director.

“She’s capable of putting such incredible celebrities together… She knows exactly how to pair them up… It’s something she feels. She puts magic together,” Ribeiro said.

The premiere season of DANCING WITH THE STARS: THE NEXT PRO just concluded on Monday. In the series, up-and-coming dancers battled for a spot as a professional dancer on the main series. Israeli-Ukrainian professional dancer Adele Zaikman won a permanent spot on the flagship series against Latin dancer AJ Pritchard and commercial dancer Selena Hamilton in the final three.

Hough paid Zaikman a huge compliment at the finale: “Adele, you could just walk across the floor and you would be captivating. There is a quality to what you do, a maturity. If you became a pro, you wouldn’t just fit in; you would elevate the rest of the DANCING WITH THE STARS cast. I really believe that.”

“You are beyond a diamond for me,” judge Shirley Ballas told Zaikman on the show. “I think that you are probably one of the best female dancers I’ve ever seen in 66 countries of DANCING WITH THE STARS or STRICTLY COME DANCING.”

In a celebratory post, Zaikman said she could not believe that she won the competition. She was dazed by the experience and support she received.

“This journey challenged me, taught me so much, and gave me some incredible new friends along the way. So grateful for this experience and SO excited for what’s next. Now tune into DWTS to see a whole lot more DANCING! 🪩🕺” she teased.

The new season of DWTS, which will star Zaikman, will come out on Tuesday, Sept. 15 on ABC.
