Candace Cameron Bure is in full “Candy Gram” mode as she eagerly awaits the birth of her grandchildren.
“Yes, I want to be a fun grandma,” Bure told US magazine. “I just want to have so much fun with them!”
In May, Bure’s daughter Natasha announced that she and husband Bradley Steven Perry are expecting their first baby. Later that month, Bure’s son Lev announced that he and his wife Elliot are expecting as well.
The mom of three was ecstatic upon hearing the news telling PEOPLE magazine, “I am overwhelmed with joy right now!”
“Becoming a grandmother is something I have dreamed about, and watching my daughter Natasha step into motherhood is one of the greatest gifts I have ever been given,” she added.
“CandyGram fully ignited!!! 💖👶🏼💖 We are over the moon!!!!!” the FULL HOUSE star responded in the comment section on Lev’s Instagram baby announcement.

With all the excitement of becoming a grandma, she said that she doesn’t want to overstep her bounds and respect both expectant parents’ wishes for their children.
“[E]veryone has different parenting styles,” Bure said. “And however my children choose to parent, I will follow their rules because I already had my chance to parent. You know, I got to do that, and so this is all about them, and I just can’t wait to be a part of it.”
But…that doesn’t mean she won’t spoil the grandkids a little bit.
“But I want to be the fun grandma that the grandkids want to come over to my place, want to spend time,” the California native said. “We’re gonna eat a lot of ice cream together. We’re gonna go to the park and play games and all the good things.”
In addition to preparing for grandmahood, the fitness enthusiast pushed her endurance to the limit by appearing on Season 5 of SPECIAL FORCES: WORLD’S TOUGHEST TEST — a reality show where celebrities compete with each other, enduring mental and physical challenges that are similar to the tests that the military uses to select recruits for Special Forces.
She initially turned down appearing in the show out of fear, but when the offer came around again, she said yes.
“I’m the kind of person that when something scares me, I want to say yes to it just to push through that fear,” Bure said. I don’t want fear to limit me or dictate my life. So I guess this was the year to say yes.”
SPECIAL FORCES: WORLD’S TOUGHEST TEST premieres Sept. 24.
